By hosting the inaugural TPLU Conference in Tulsa during Juneteenth, we reaffirm our commitment to advancing Black excellence in tax and financial leadership. This event brings together industry leaders who understand that our legacy thrives when we invest in one another and uplift the next generation of Black professionals. The Tax Pros Like Us (TPLU) Conference is built on community, collaboration, and contribution. We’re always looking for experienced TPLU members who want to give back, sharing their expertise to support the growth and unity of our community.
We already have several nationally recognized speakers donating their time and expertise to teach for the culture, and now, we’re inviting you to join them.

"Who all goin' be there?"
Tax Pros Like Us (TPLU) – professionals who want to connect, collaborate, and strengthen relationships within our community. TPLU Members are welcome to invite like-minded professionals outside of TPLU who would make a great addition to our group.
Will sessions be recorded or available for replay?
No, recordings will not be available. We encourage everyone to be present and engaged in real time.
Is TPLU (or your organization) a nonprofit?
Yes — we operate as a nonprofit organization focused on serving our community.
Are my donations tax-deductible?
No. Although we operate as a nonprofit, we are not a 501(c)(3), so donations are not tax-deductible. You are still welcome to donate—your support helps fund our programs and community initiatives—but please note that contributions cannot be claimed on your taxes.
What’s the dress code?
Business casual. In short — be you.
Are sponsorship opportunities available?

Will there be networking or social events?
Absolutely. This is TPLU — connecting and having fun is what we do best.
Are there hotel recommendations or room blocks?
Yes. While there are several hotels nearby, the official conference Tulsa Club hotel is listed on our Travel page for those who want the most convenient option.
Cancellation policy
You may cancel your registration at any time up to March 15, 2026, with no penalty. Cancellations received between March 16, 2026 and April 20, 2026 will be eligible for a refund minus a $199 processing fee. Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued after April 20, 2026, and no refunds will be provided for no-shows. Substitutions are allowed, and you may transfer your registration to another attendee, provided the replacement pays any applicable difference in registration fees.
